when you open up the welcome email that I sent everyone today you can see the green reunion site the sheraton set up for us. When you hit one and two it will show you what the front and the back of the t-shirts look like. The caps can be ordered in green or white. 25.00 for adults and 13.00 for children. The set.

Well, Family I have been getting good response from the family and many of our family members are making plans on being in Detroit at the Showdown in Motown Reunion featuring the Green Family, July 11-13. Presently Betty Jo is calling around to try to get a discount with her travel discount and she will be letting me know something today. Because finances is a problem for most of us we decided to cancel the registration fees. Therefore you all can use that money for your own use. BUT, I want everyone whether coming to the reunion or not to order your T-shirts and caps, adults and children. We will use this money for the functions we are planning for all of you. God is a supernatural BLESSING GOD and he is Blessing our Reunion. For those that want to still register at the Sheraton go right ahead.
Who would have ever thought in 2006 at our reunion THAT WE WOULD BE FACED WITH WHAT WE ARE TODAY. MANY HAVE FALLEN SICK, MANY ARE PREGNANT, by THE WAY NIKKI CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR MARRIAGE. Ill regardless, Wally who had by-pass surgery and his family are still coming and a host of others. Delia you and Carolyn come on. Delia tell your son to come on. Yvette come on, all of you, come on to this Our-Story event happening in Detroit Mi. Andy will be working in Michigan so he will be here. We want all of you here. Sometimes our plans don't always work the way we think they should, but as we persevere God In his omni-presence brings clarity to every situation. PEACE BE STILL. In quietness and comfort God will give us peace. More information on the horizon.

Mission: Reason for having the reunion was because my Father Lucious Hughley does not travel due to illness. So I took it upon myself to bring the reunion to Detroit to him.

Purpose: To gather all historical (OUR-STORY)facts from our elders before they leave this earth to record the information for future generations.

Objective: To grow in love with each other and know each other.

Goal: To spread wealth amongst ourselves, in knowledge and understanding.

Friday: Hospitality night.
Saturday: Fun day, time of sharing.

Hello everyone, I have sent the information to each one of your emails with the picture of the T-shirts I hope you all like it. Thanks Morris for getting the information on the hotel up and running. I know everyone's schedule is probably extremely business, but we need to get an idea of who all is coming so we can hold a room for our function. Morris if I could get some feed on how to put information onto our site I believe I could navigate the pictures and other vital information that we need on the site.

Hi Everyone,
Delayed but not forgotten: Nikki, congratulations on your engagement. Much love your family. We are looking for publishers, editors, writers for our-tori-cal Memorabilia book. We want to put names to all the old pictures we shared with one another in Charlotte. Birth dates of our ancestors and all the facts we know about them. At the Reunion as we did in Charlotte there will be a time of sharing. We only have a few older family members left and we need to get all the information about our-history that we possibly can. All this information will be published in a book with the consent of our family. Family we need you all to go deep in the forgotten drawers in your homes where all those wonderful pictures lie and bring life back to them with the stories that they hold. Also, we want to add to our beautiful family tree that was on display in Charlotte.

Morris will be putting the information about the Reunion on our website shortly. The T-shirt sales and family donations will help fund the picnic and other activities. Based on our sales and budget hopefully, we will be able to incur the parking for our family members. So the sooner we pay our monies the sooner we can get everything lined up. If everyone pays through pay pal under my non-profit organization there will not be any taxes added to the cost of the hotel rooms. I have already discussed this matter with the sales manager at the Sheraton Detroit River Hotel. We are going to be right in the heart of all the action in Detroit. I know some of us may be having financial difficulties, but if we band together I am sure beyond the shadow of a doubt God has already worked it out. 12 long years in a depression and God has now deliver me oh yes we can and we will work this thing out, because if God be for us who in all the world can be against us. Greetings!
I happened upon your web page looking for my family's page!
I thought it was ironic that I was born and raised in Detroit and your family is reuniting there next year. I believe we have had our reunion there only a couple of times.
Mississippi is the birth place of my grandfather, the late B. Farris Green, the Patriarch of the family. Every year we travel to a different venue to celebrate our reunions and I'm glad to know that your family is joining in the fun as well.
I wish all of you the best and may God strengthen and keep your family. Our Family Motto is... A family that prays together stays together. And we are all family... not necessarily by our blood but by Jesus' blood.
