Well, Family I have been getting good response from the family and many of our family members are making plans on being in Detroit at the Showdown in Motown Reunion featuring the Green Family, July 11-13. Presently Betty Jo is calling around to try to get a discount with her travel discount and she will be letting me know something today. Because finances is a problem for most of us we decided to cancel the registration fees. Therefore you all can use that money for your own use. BUT, I want everyone whether coming to the reunion or not to order your T-shirts and caps, adults and children. We will use this money for the functions we are planning for all of you. God is a supernatural BLESSING GOD and he is Blessing our Reunion. For those that want to still register at the Sheraton go right ahead.
Who would have ever thought in 2006 at our reunion THAT WE WOULD BE FACED WITH WHAT WE ARE TODAY. MANY HAVE FALLEN SICK, MANY ARE PREGNANT, by THE WAY NIKKI CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR MARRIAGE. Ill regardless, Wally who had by-pass surgery and his family are still coming and a host of others. Delia you and Carolyn come on. Delia tell your son to come on. Yvette come on, all of you, come on to this Our-Story event happening in Detroit Mi. Andy will be working in Michigan so he will be here. We want all of you here. Sometimes our plans don't always work the way we think they should, but as we persevere God In his omni-presence brings clarity to every situation. PEACE BE STILL. Mission: Reason for having the reunion was because my Father Lucious Hughley does not travel due to illness. So I took it upon myself to bring the reunion to Detroit to him.
Purpose: To gather all historical (OUR-STORY)facts from our elders before they leave this earth to record the information for future generations.
Objective: To grow in love with each other and know each other.
Goal: To spread wealth amongst ourselves, in knowledge and understanding.
Friday: Hospitality night.
Saturday: Fun day, time of sharing.
